The Paternal Heart of Life

  The Paternal Heart of Life

On this page:

Voice of Modern Prophets

On July 1, 1932, the Feast of the Precious Blood of Christ, the Church received a message from the Father spoken not just to believers, but to all of the human children on earth. Audience with the Eternal Father has been granted to holy saints at special moments; St Catherine of Sienna, St Hildegard of Bingen, St Teresa of Avila, Blessed Angela of Foligno, Mother Mechtilde of Madgeburg, and others.

The Father drew near at the exact midpoint of the darkest year of the worldwide Great Depression, through Abbess Mother Eugenia Ravasio of Italy. The message is all mercy, relayed in simple language. The revelation is sometimes questioned for the assertion that God would save anyone if only they acknowledge His true Paternal sovereignty. But He did not also say that the only Door, Christ, to His Fatherly Kingdom, had been rendered unnecessary – Jesus Who is ‘all access’ to the Father himself and to Whom all can go, because Christ the Son leads all first. When it chooses to believe in God, could not the Father assure a soul’s salvation by then seeing to its finding Christ by immanent prodigies of grace?

The booklet The Father Speaks to His Children, as given to Mother Eugenia Ravasio, has received imprimatur “let it be printed” (free from doctrinal and moral errors), from Vicar General Cardinal Canisius Van Lierde, Vatican City, Rome, March 13, 1988. The Vatican no longer requires an imprimatur of personal revelation texts after 1965. Acta Apostolicae Sedis No. 58/16, October 14, 1966:

“It is no longer prohibited to divulge, without imprimatur, writings regarding new apparitions, revelations, visions, prophecies and miracles.”

To date, the Church classifies the writings of Mother Eugenia Ravasio “non-constat de supernaturalitate” or “It is not certain/confirmed of supernatural origin”. This classification is not the same as “constat de non supernaturalitate” or “It is confirmed to be of non-supernatural origin”. The status remains because the Church has not exhausted her final examination of the event.

Three Messages

In “The Father Speaks to His Children”, the very first paragraph of the message reads:

“I HAVE ALREADY TOLD YOU AND NOW I SAY IT AGAIN: I CANNOT GIVE MY BELOVED SON ANOTHER TIME TO PROVE MY LOVE FOR MEN! I AM NOW COMING AMONG THEM IN ORDER TO LOVE THEM AND TO MAKE THEM KNOW THIS LOVE, ASSUMING THEIR IMAGE, THEIR POVERTY. LOOK NOW I AM PUTTING ASIDE MY CROWN AND ALL MY GLORY TO TAKE ON THE APPEARANCE OF AN ORDINARY MAN!”

The message continues:

“THIS IS THE REAL PURPOSE OF MY COMING: 1) I AM COMING TO BANISH THE EXCESSIVE FEAR THAT MY CREATURES HAVE OF ME, AND TO SHOW THEM THAT MY JOY LIES IN BEING KNOWN AND LOVED BY MY CHILDREN, THAT IS, BY ALL MANKIND, PRESENT AND FUTURE. 2) I AM COMING TO BRING HOPE TO MEN AND NATIONS. HOW MANY HAVE LONG SINCE LOST IT! THIS HOPE WILL MAKE THEM LIVE IN PEACE AND SECURITY, WORKING FOR THEIR SALVATION. 3) I AM COMING TO MAKE MYSELF KNOWN JUST AS I AM, SO THAT MEN’S TRUST MAY INCREASE TOGETHER WITH THEIR LOVE FOR ME, THEIR FATHER. I HAVE BUT ONE CONCERN: TO WATCH OVER ALL MEN AND LOVE THEM AS MY CHILDREN.”

Then 26,939 days later, on April 13, 2006, the Father drew nearer, through an American Catholic, saying to the whole world:

“MY DEAR AND BELOVED CHILDREN OF MY EARTH,

TODAY I HAVE COME AMONG YOU TO GIVE TO YOU A VERY SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR ALL OF MANKIND.  TODAY, I HOLD OUT MY HEART TO HUMANITY.  I HOLD OUT MY HEART TO GIVE IT TO HUMANITY, TO ALL MY CHILDREN IN A LAST AND DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO SAVE THEIR SOULS AND RESTORE LIFE TO MY CHILDREN.  I DESIRE THAT PEOPLE VENERATE THE IMAGE OF MY FATHERLY SACRED HEART.  I DESIRE THAT PEOPLE PLACE THIS PICTURE ALONGSIDE THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS AND THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY PAINTING AND PICTURES.  I DESIRE TO BE VENERATED IN THE HOMES.  EVERY FAMILY SHOULD HONOR THE HEART OF THE FATHER, FOR IT IS OUT OF THE HEART OF THE FATHER THAT I SENT YOU MY ONLY BEGOTTEN SON TO SAVE AND REDEEM HUMANITY.  TODAY, I GIVE MY HEART AS A SYMBOL OF MY LOVE AND TO DRAW THEM BACK TO MY SPIRIT WHICH I GIVE FREELY THROUGH JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT.  COME BACK TO MY HEART, LIVE IN MY KINGDOM, AND RECEIVE MY TRUE PEACE.  FOR THIS TO HAPPEN, PEOPLE MUST VENERATE AND ACKNOWLEDGE MY FATHERLY SACRED HEART.  OH, HOW SO OFTEN IT IS SPOKEN OF IN HOLY SCRIPTURES, YET NO ONE PAYS ANY ATTENTION TO IT.

MY HEART IS REAL!  IT TRULY BEATS AND LONGS FOR ALL MY CHILDREN TO BE IN MY KINGDOM AND FREE FROM SIN AND SATAN.  MY HEART YEARNED TO SEND THE SAVIOR, MY SON, INTO THE WORLD, AND THROUGH THAT I SEND ALSO, THROUGH MY HEART, YOUR ONLY MOTHER, YOUR MOST HOLY MOTHER, AND SHE LOVES YOU SO MUCH AND DESIRES YOU TO RETURN BACK TO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN ALSO.”

And 3,831 days more, He drew nearer still, in Colombia, on April 28, 2016. Preserved in anonymity a catholic soul received the vision of the Father present to earth, offering the fire of His Paternal Heart, attended by and shown in communion with the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, The Immaculate Heart of Mary Mother of God, and the Most Chaste Heart of Joseph, putative father of the Son of God, inviting every human being into His Alliance of Eternal Love.

MESSAGE FROM GOD THE FATHER

THIS ARDENT FLAME OF LOVE, IS MY MERCIFUL LOVE.

THE FLAME OF THE MERCIFUL LOVE IS THE FLAME OF MY ETERNAL AND DIVINE WILL.

THIS FLAME IS THE PERSONIFICATION OF THE PERFECT LOVE AND OF THE DIVINE WILL. IT’S MY HEART IN FLAMES, THE FLAME THAT SURROUNDS THE UNITED HEARTS OF JESUS, JOSEPH AND MARY OF THE MERCIFUL AND DIVINE LOVE FUSING THEM IN DIVINE UNION WITH MY OWN WILL TO NEVER BE SEPARATED AND FUSING ALL OF HUMANITY.

THIS FLAME IS A TRANSFORMING FLAME WISHING TO CONSUME THE HEART OF THE WORLD. THE FLAME OF THE ETERNAL FATHER.

MY MERCIFUL LOVE TRANSFORMS ALL THAT IT TOUCHES WITHOUT LEAVING TRACE NOR ASHES BUT TRANSFORMING IT IN LOVE, IN A MORE PERFECT LOVE. THE PEACE AND JOY THAT SURGES FROM THIS FLAME OF MY MERCIFUL LOVE IS THE NEW JERUSALEM, THE VICTORY, THE ETERNAL PATH OF RECTITUDE IN THE SOUL.

THEREFORE, THE UNITED HEARTS OF JESUS, JOSEPH AND MARY REPRESENT MY MERCIFUL LOVE, AS MUCH AS REFUGE AS PROTECTION, THE SECURITY IN TRIBULATION AND THE VICTORY OVER EVIL. UNITED THEY SHARE ALL TO BE SUBMERGED IN THE FLAME OF MY MERCIFUL LOVE WALKING TOGETHER TOWARDS THE TOTAL SURRENDER TO LOVE.

BLESSINGS, BLESSINGS, BLESSINGS.

The subject of the painting was asked by the third revelation, assisted by the previous two and completed in 2017.

Painting Illumination

The loving manifestation of God the Father to creatures through revelation is an event of signal importance. The very first words given above to Mother Eugenia explain why. Jesus has already accomplished everything humans will need. God has said:

“Those who believe in Me have nothing to fear.”

Heart

The third vision included the Holy Family, seen jointly turned toward the Father elevated above them, in a union of hearts. The modern age is losing heart and in some places has already lost heart. Heart is everything. It is always essence and core in human life, it’s very mystery. The Father is the Heart of Love and The Father of all love. The flow of Love requires I and thou, giver and receiver. Every family is the natural ground for love to be learned, given, received. We need others, we need relationships, in order to live love, to experience love.

Universal Gift

Father Joseph, mother Mary, and child Jesus are a human family. The Christian religion expresses the knowledge and saving love of God’s presence on earth through the fundamental human society of family. Religion (reconnection) teaches Divinity in relation to man and creation to reveal the order and design of reality in many forms and modes of expressed love. True religion expresses the symphonic nature of the One God’s Divine Being, Who is love. Yet no religion witnesses the coming of the Creator to earth in the guise of his own creature, man, except Christianity. No other religion expresses the radical intimacy of God manifesting Himself to the living on earth, and by the Paradigm of Holy Triune Deity, quintessentially through the human family.

There are currently 6,909 known living languages on earth, approximately half of which are oral only. At least one book of Holy Judeo-Christian Scripture has been translated into 2,932 of the written languages on earth. The second-most translated title is not even another religious wisdom book (The Adventures of Pinocchio, 260 languages). This fact reminds that this is no coincidence, but a categorically unique mass human appraising of one faith, the Christian revelation and its incomparable authority and veracity, an initiative which no earthly corporate body could carry out successfully by only itself. Human powers do not aspire to be so organized as to maintain successful campaigns extending over dozens of centuries. As entities seeking desirable permanence and flourishing, nations can’t even maintain continuity and stability for more than a few hundred years. Christianity affirms true religion everywhere, in so far as all express true attributes of the only Godhead, but it surpasses and capitulates them all, with the fabulous, but foretold, surprise of God coming historically among human beings in a mystery that will never be exhausted by human wonder or gratitude.

Heaven and Earth

The painting is divided into two halves. The upper half portrays Heaven, the lower half, earth. God is heaven.

The Father of all mankind and all creation is shown standing in the sky in the condescension of an ordinary man as indicated to Mother Eugenia. Nor is The Father depicted quaintly or by puny measure, nor by any sense as idol. The Father is unspeakable majesty, fantastically beyond all human intuition. The singular attribute of God is that He is beyond understanding, beyond rationalism and intellectualism. Atmospheric clouds are behind and before Him, giving scale to his accommodating and local apparition. His blood red cloak is fastened with the Sun as a clasp. He is centered in an enormous white host, an emanation of an even larger implied presence, His Divine all seeing Eye, the Eye of His Heart, glimpsing His earth at the edge of creation. The white host is enclosed by an iris of quartz rose, symbol of simplicity and tender love for His creation – earth and man. This sphere of light shines a vast emanation of loving grace that encompasses effortlessly all in an embrace of constant care, at once a symbol of His infinite affection, regard for all He has made, and every of one His human sons and daughters.

The kingdom of heaven is one that is always coming. Heaven comes. “Thy kingdom come” is an encounter we cannot avert unless we condemn ourselves in perversely willed darkness and godlessness, in stupidity. We are all casting forth unto the loving eye of God, into the sky of His heart. He has put this desire for Himself into humanity’s bloodstream, into our very hearts.

As the One God, He comes as Father, in a present world where almost half of all children are born out of wedlock, that is, without a continuously present father in life. The ills of the present day can be traced to the fatherlessness that affects so many families. He comes as none other but Father.

Earth is shown as terra rosa, loved by God, loved with Light. Standing at the trailhead to God is the Son, Who came to show us that He is the way to the Father. Jesus is called the Way, the Truth, and the Life. The path to the Father is a journey created and enacted by the Christ Jesus, and the path is Christ Himself. As in the parable of the prodigal son, the picture reminds us of our homecoming in God, which begins with our turning around, our conversion, walking in the new direction of deepest human intuition, which is God. Meanwhile, God has always been moving toward us, coming to each of us. He comes to give His very self, all of Himself. This is a picture of giving, a portrait of the Giver.

Eternal Family

The human family is the receiver. The hundred years since the prophecy of Fatima (1917) has seen the century of unparalleled human family wounding and deconstructions, of taking clueless liberties with natural and cosmic laws, attempting to blindly dismantle the ordinary human family, by leading humans into substituting, isolating, disconnecting, separating, idealogical identities instead. Trying to be intellectual ‘wards’ of our selves is an attempt to preempt the orders of blood and an abandonment of the very vocation of being human. The family’s and human nature’s most necessary nature and innate wisdom is its governance in blood.

Man awaits the recovery of non-tribal allegiances in loving blood, the bond of fathers, mothers, sons and daughters. No one is exempt – we are all one of these. We cannot not know this – it is inscribed in our veins by an indestructible, monumental silence of unalterable code. Those who believe the code is alterable or imperfect attempt the unpardonable crime of Deicide.

The futile, selfistic experiments of the modern era demonstrate that the absence of blood order invites and has already invited the opposite: disease, disrepair, degradation, decadence, synthetic falsities of deadly ends, ultimately collapse. Man is a being of relationship, created to bond profoundly with an other. When that natural other is God – divinity, truth, wisdom, virtue, goodness, beauty, rightness, order, family – humans flourish and enjoy health of every measure on earth.

But Man standing without any such relationship is very close instead to a false, surrogate bond called idolatry and its extreme – addiction: in power, control, money, lust, self, and thousands of intoxicating vices. Cardinal Sarah: “If we neglect God, the snare is never far away.” At the same time, the world today seems to want to lose this literacy in blood. What ultimately emerges when humanity loses God and therefore the assistance to discern between good and evil? What emerges is not human health, nor peace on earth.

True family obeys the primacy of blood, ever with human beings since the beginning of life on earth. If you are a son or daughter, no ideology, nor philosophy, nor psychology, nor litany of national laws, nor “civil rights”, nor libertine philosophies, nor media talk, nor any human letter anywhere, nor tiniest dint of human thought can erase the cosmic reality of blood which submits humans forever to each other and to God. If you are a father, nothing can erase your fatherhood, and likewise, motherhood, brotherhood, sisterhood. The painting presents a father, a mother, a son: a unity of blood. No one can take family apart without doing destructive violence to the health of existence. Does the rest of nature disobey the creature bond of blood in parent and progeny? Never. Our technological age embraces the fellowship of pets, creatures incapable of evil, but how do we then also miss the obedience of animals to nature’s rites of fecundation, in the laws of blood?

Man has freewill and can test reality even up to greatly sinful heights. But does it bless him? Does it create health and order and harmony and peace? Humans are family creatures, and their blood writes a claim on them that is not superseded by any idealogical “emancipation”. You, reader, have no fundamental substance without actual family from which you issued and is fused into you.

Family is a vocation both innate and learned by living. Cardinal Sarah: “Man is nothing without woman, woman is nothing without man, and the two are nothing without a third element, which is the child.” Jesus says: “The vocation of human marriage is second in dignity only to God Himself.” All human vocations, including priest, flow out of the vocations of son and daughter first.

Standing in origin, in the garden, is the family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. They are standing with their back to the viewer as if perhaps unaware of all else, adoring God the Father with all their heart and all their strength and all their mind. They teach by example. Their attention to the Father Who is Truth is the model of attention we also follow. Turning to the Father is only the beginning of blessing.

The Lady of Conversion

Jesus is the creature-God who relates the full substance of humanity: flesh and spirit. How did God deliver Himself into time and space, into a human instrument? Through one special human woman, Mary.

Mary of Nazareth, only daughter of Joachim and Anne, is named the Immaculate Conception. She is the host created by God to be the deliverer to earth of its Savior, Jesus Christ, the God-man. In order for God, Who is unsearchable purity and totality, to enter the small terrestrial sphere of earth, He arranged for a spotless human carrier, a virgin womb. Mary is not like the rest of humanity because she was created free of sin, a pure vessel of intrinsic, sanctifying grace, free even of self will, yet not choiceless. The nature and gift of Mary, Mother of God, is the treasure of the Church, which has expounded her incomparable archetype in creation for all the world to know and bless. No other figure occupies the solitary design that she represents in all the libraries of religion on earth.

While the temptation to envy Mary for queenly singularity might be understandable by others, her mission was to be the host of the Son of God made human in flesh. This child came to offer His entire being, His Divine Blood, as a holocaust for mankind. Mary allows herself to be the bearer of this Child, the loving mother of this Child, the One anointed boy Who is walking celestial beauty, sublime knowledge of Divine wisdom, unsurpassingly lovable in unblemished perfection. Mary followed her child all the way to His bewildering immolation, the destruction of His body, the spilling of His blood, by His own people who did not know what they were doing, or to Whom. Mary suffered the greatest atrocity, a cruelty more vast than all that will ever be humanly known on earth.

Mary is center, the blessing emanation of the Trinity as God’s mother, spouse, and daughter. She conveys to humanity the triple befriending love of the Trinitarian God in all the ties of familial bond!

Mary is painted in a tunic of simple floral blue rippled with draping folds symbolizing ponderous suffering. Her sorrowful heart is encircled with roses and thrust through with a sword signifying the total violation by the Passion’s monstrous pain, which opens the way forever for the confession of wounded orphan hearts, “hardened hearts”. Mary, the disciple, standing in blue, first upon the holy path to God, archetype of all disciples, is a theological icon of faith.

Guardian of the Way

Jesus has a Spirit Father and a human mother. His human protector on earth was Joseph, of the royal Davidic line. But Joseph is not conceived immaculate, yet is the noblest of men on earth, blessed of highest virtues through extrinsic or actual grace.

God the Father is Love above All, Supreme Reality, and Christ His Son, divine and human, the humble door to the purest Spirit of the Creator, and Mary, the human masterpiece conceived without original impurity, gateway of God to His people. Then there is Joseph who conveys a humanity that all – anyone – can touch and know in true fellowship because pure divinity is not native in his inheritance, as of Mary and Jesus, who among men is closest to this family immaculate.

Catholic understanding has celebrated this sequence of human access to the Divine: no one comes to the Father except through Jesus; no one gets nearer to Jesus than by relationship with His Mother Mary; no greater access is there to Mary except through her just spouse, Joseph.

Joseph is our perennial advocate, archetype of creature obedience, human model of divine cooperation. Joseph complies with his every station in the humility of silence, in every hidden virtue, in completely ‘unsigned’ acts of total human vocation.

“Joseph sought God in simplicity; Joseph found God in detachment; Joseph enjoyed God’s company in obscurity.”

...

“The knowledge of the value of the grace Joseph received and of its absolute gratuitousness, far from injuring his humility, would strengthen it. He would think in his heart: ‘What have you, that you have not received?’ ”

...

“Joseph appears the most humble of the saints after Mary – more humble than any of the angels. If he is the most humble, he is by that fact the greatest, for the virtues are all connected, and a person’s charity is as elevated as his humility is profound. ... ‘He that is lesser among you all, he is the greater.’ (Luke 9:48)”

Father, husband, servant, worker, God listener. These last two titles describe the prodigy of Joseph, the prototype of invisible, silent self offering.

Joseph is dressed in a value between the grass and juniper all about him, a man born of earth, harmonized, conformed, and therefore hidden. He stands at the edge of the path on humble grass, the silent prophet of Christ, magnificent in transparency, Guard of Love, Guardian of the Way. In green, Joseph is the theological icon of hope for obedience, vocational union in the divine will.

The Beggar Child Jesus

Jesus is dressed in the light blush, which speaks only poverty and bravest love. The barefoot, bareshoulder Child is today poor in human favor: Deity abandoned, forgotten, marginalized, ignored, rejected, neglected, even abused.

God comes to his people at this hour as a little beggar, begging for love and friendship. God begs his creature to know Him. What can God not do to convince His creature, man, that He is not a tyrant, a locus of dread, a power of fear? God deposes Himself from power and glory, appeals only in disarming poverty. Like the swaddled babe in the Bethlehem manger, the penniless boy is the unexpected doorway to the unending glories of the Kingdom. How many miss the poverty of God? Who is threatened by God’s inconceivable mercy and condescension?

The God Who becomes creature, in this most delicate shade and poorest of poverties, is Jesus, True God and icon of Love.

Father God

The Father is preceded and surrounded by a vast, radiant, heart-shaped nimbus of peace.

Rise, O glorious orb of day
Draw the curtains from the sky;
Let your light in glad array,
All creation beautify;
Bid the fears of darkness born,
Melt before the light of morn

Light transcendent! Fill the skies,
Glorious Orb of heavenly light!
Take the darkness from our eyes
Fill our souls with visions bright.
Jesus, Light of lights, appear,
Rise upon our souls with cheer

From your throne of splendor bright,
Shed your glory far abroad;
Let the wanderers in their plight
See the path that leads to God,
And upon their pathway shine,
Heavenly Orb of light divine

There, no sun illumes the day,
Where the wanderers find their rest;
Moon nor stars their light display
In the kingdom of the blest;
For the Christ himself is Sun,
And the day is never done.

His raiment of red and gold, blood and fire, is shown frayed at the bottom. Cardinal Sarah: “Our Father is poor. This is perhaps an image of God that eludes us and repels us, because we have not really met ‘the Son of man [Who] has nowhere to lay his head’ ” (Matthew 8:20). The suffering God, the God Who gives His all away. His hair is not white as snow, but brown with grey, nearer to his children, a father nearer than a grandfather, stripping Himself of glory.

From His Paternal, all-loving Heart emanates the Holy Spirit of love, which penetrates the hearts of the holy family, and which flows through them onward to every human family. By the heart of the Eternal Father, Joseph, Mary, and Jesus have consecrated the human family, purified it, sanctified it, for all the living.

Everywhere, it is true, humans are wounded by their family of origin, in poverty, in lacks, in imperfections, in ignorance, in frailties and absences of many sad kinds. Does not everyone search for the perfect father? We have a Perfect Father! He made us and has never forgotten us, Who loves us and will always love us, Whose love will never fail, never give up, never run out, love inexhaustible, infinite, unending. See! He comes to you – heed the vision! Is the ever-darkening now an acceptable time? The Father seeks worshippers because He desires the one intimate bond, which He made us for.

Human beings are more than animals, we are spiritual creatures who have awareness, memory, imagination, intellect, thought: orders of things that are invisible, unspoken, unseen. Do not all the sciences by now fathom this? God gives us all two fathers, an earthly one and Himself, pure Spirit. We are creatures of blood, which shows us our interconnection, mutual interdependence, also our weakness and fragility. We are also creatures of spirit, of God, enduring, weatherers of seasons and decades. God has been born to us, and God has entered directly into the bloodstream of the human family through Jesus and Mary. Baptism is the sealing of the divine-human bond. As he was to the Son and to the Mother, Joseph is foster father of us all, our advocate at the court of divinity.

The Heavens are dominated by the presence of the Father. “So, is this supposed to be The God?... Isn’t any graven image limited, blasphemous, heresy, impossibility?” Only if we disallow God from doing whatever He wills. Is it impossible for God to condescend, to accommodate – to stoop down to – His creature, making Himself intelligible enough to us who are so small? Can God not in fact do whatever He wants? The doctrine of the Holy Trinity reveals that the Father is in Jesus and Jesus is in the Father. Christ has already condescended, already has the Father been brought near to His lowly creature on earth through His son.

“Heaven is life in the Heart of the Father, a state of being in communion with the Father forever. The Father has graciously revealed Himself through the Son. The gates are open: the Father has invited us all to find our home in His Heart.”

— Neal Lozano
Abba’s Heart

The Father of all creation makes it known to his masterwork, humanity, that each of us is a cell in His supracosmic heart. Each human person is a heart cell in the perennial Paternal Heart of the Father.

Forest of Sleeping Souls, Valley of Tears

Life on earth is not to find here ultimate security, but to find peace in the eternal Heart of God. By offering our inevitable sufferings, we order our lives to eternal salvation, not simply to temporary relief or evasion from pain.

The landscape unfolds a journey into the Heart of the Father, a path that winds through a wilderness of tears. The cedar is a rich symbol of humans unawake waiting for the revelation of knowledge about soul and God.

How are we asleep? When we are dead asleep in our sins, that is, incapable of stopping or overcoming unhealthy or destructive behaviors, harmful conduct upon others, and ignorant of God.

What grief? Dark green is a symbol of awakening to truth and healing, which brings with it grief of our exile from God. Are we persons of a repressed grief unrecognized in psychic wounds, tragedies, enslavements, ideologies, lifestyles, idolatries, addictions, obsessions, compulsions, patterns of recurring torment? The Lord of all has made reality simple: be possessed by God OR be possessed by something else. All slavery brought to extreme becomes addiction, or slavery without choice. Are we asleep in unwept tears of unfreedom? God does not demand sacrifices from “a master”, someone who has it all together, or comes up with laudable acts of virtue out of a personal storehouse. The sacrifice that is perennially welcomed first is the contrite heart, an offering of truth, what often is most hidden, most secretive, most denied: wounds, fears, inadequacies, shortcomings, lackings, littleness, frailty. Our Father wants honesty – that is His treasure.

The cedar is also a symbol of hunger for God, ever pointing upward, beyond, to what is transcendent, to Heaven.

The cedar is a symbol of faith, even if that faith is dormant or inactive. As the juniper is known for its hardiness, resistance to extremes, in drought, heat, and cold, so is faith. Some of us may tarry long distances, unaware of the tenacity God has placed within so that we will have the endurance to find Him finally. The search for God finds God, but He is also always seeking out His creature child, each human person. Somehow every human heart senses this truth.

Mary, Mother of us all, is a conduit of grace and loving spirit. What comes to her from God goes out to all the world, east to west, to all souls, to call them to her son, the Savior, Who is the conqueror of slaveries, the door to the Father of Freedom. The center beam passes over one soul kneeling with reaching arms who has awoken out of the sleep of affliction, to the call of God, the call of redemption, of healing, of conversion, of transformation, who finds that God the Creator Father is real, who finds that God’s name means mercy. God, Who is truth, beauty, goodness, health, newness, perfection, forgiveness, deliverance. But how many remain asleep in addiction and idolatry?

God is not sickness, nor disease, nor disorder, nor is He the source of any negativity. As Unity Itself, He is not party to human speculations, proud ideologies, and defiant pluralisms. God is cleanness, purity, perfection, simplicity, a single unifying act. God is the health of the sick. The landscape reveals that the noon light of the Father already kisses creation and every soul, even if they don’t know it yet. This baptismal light of grace incites the desire to seek and know Him.

To be free is to find the Kingdom of Heaven, which is not a human enterprise or invention, but a gift only from God, which is salvation.

There is only one Who is conqueror of evils, unclean spirits, all vices and sins, all disorders and diseases, all that is false, all that is of Satan, the serpent liar. That Doctor is the Christ of God. Faith and belief are the keys that unlock freedom for each person.

The Eschaton

The Father comes to His little children. Who comes to us is more than a mere creature can fathom. The beginning and the end, the All, the Everything: I AM.

We begin on earth, all of us born down here and aspiring to Up There. The Spirit pours forth in a tall triangle, crossed by the arms of Mary, offering its Alpha, the beginning, the Ascent from earth.

The rose sphere of majestic hush intersects the horizon of earth to offer its Omega – the happy end – which is Heaven, the gift of God the Father, Himself.

Flesh becomes spirit!

But in order to lead the way, God, Who is Spirit, came down to us in flesh.

In the One: Jesus.

Why Is Mary Center and Not Jesus?

The mystic of Colombia was given the vision of Four Hearts, exactly with Mary between Jesus and Joseph. In the Epistle from the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, the Church extols the excellence of Wisdom and applies the lesson to our Lady. In the revelation that follows, Jesus quotes this epistle, referring to Proverbs as the Book of the Ancestor. Mary is the daughter of the Father, the bride of the Spirit, and the Mother of the Christ of God; she is attached to the fullness of the Trinity in every way. Jesus, illuminating ancient scripture, reveals the singularity of Mary, as revealed in the passage below (used with permission) from Chapter 5 of The Poem of the Man-God, Volume One, by Maria Valtorta (Copyright © 1986, Maria Valtorta Foundation CEV srl):

27th August 1944

Jesus says:

Rise and make haste, My little friend. I am longing to take you with Me on the heavenly contemplation of Mary’s Virginity. You will emerge from this experience with your soul as fresh as if you too were created at the moment by the Father, a little Eve not yet aware of the flesh. You will emerge with your soul filled with light, because you will plunge into God’s masterpiece. You will emerge with your whole being saturated in love, because you will have understood the degree to which God can love. To speak of the conception of Mary, the Immaculate, means to penetrate the sky, light, love.

Come and read Her glories in the Book of the Ancestor. “God possessed me at the beginning of His works, from the beginning before the Creation. From everlasting I was firmly set, in the beginning, before earth came into being, the deep did not yet exist and I was already conceived. The springs did not yet gush with water and the mountains had not yet risen in their huge masses, neither were the hills jewels in the sun, when I came to birth. God had not yet made the earth, the rivers and the foundation of the world, and I was there. When He prepared the Heavens I was present, when with immutable laws He enclosed the deep under the surface, when he fixed the Heavens firm and He suspended there the springs of water, when he assigned the sea its boundaries and gave laws to the waters, when He ordered the waters not to invade the shore, when he laid down the foundations of the earth, I was with Him arranging everything. I always played joyfully in His presence, I played in the universe ... “You applied these words to Wisdom, but they speak of Her: the beautiful Mother, the holy Mother, the Virgin Mother of Wisdom that I am, Who am now speaking to you.”

I wanted you to write the first line of the song at the top of the book that speaks of Her, that She might be contemplated and the consolation and joy of God might be known; the reason for the constant, perfect, intimate delight of the God One and Trine, Who rules and loves you and Who received from man so many reasons for being sad; the reason why He perpetuated the human race, even when, at the first test, humanity deserved to be destroyed; the reason for the forgiveness you have received.

To have Mary that loved Him! Oh! It was well worth while creating Man and allowing him to exist and decreeing to forgive him, to have the Beautiful Virgin, the Holy Virgin, the Immaculate Virgin, the Loving Virgin, the Beloved Daughter, the Most Pure Mother, the Loving Spouse! God has given you so much and would have given you even more to possess the Creature of His delight, the Sun of His sun, the Flower of His garden. And He continues to give you so much on account of Her, at Her request, for Her joy, because Her joy flows into the joy of God and increases it with flashes that fill the light, the great light of Paradise with brilliant sparkles and every sparkle is a grace to the universe, to mankind, to the blessed souls who reply with a jubilant cry of alleluia to each generation of divine miracle, created by the desire of the Blessed Trinity to see the sparkling smile of joy of the Virgin.

God desired to put a king in the universe that He had created out of nothing. A king, who by the nature of matter should be the first amongst all the creatures created with matter and endowed with matter. A king, who by nature of the spirit should be little less than divine, united to Grace as he was in his first innocent day. But the Supreme Mind, to Whom all the most remote events in centuries are known, incessantly sees what was, is and will be; and while It contemplates the past, and observes the present, It penetrates deeply with Its foresight into the most distant future and knows in every detail how the last man will die. Without confusion or discontinuity the Supreme Mind has always known that the king created to be a demigod at Its side in Heaven, heir of the Father, would arrive adult in His Kingdom, after living in the house of his mother – the earth, with which he was made – during his childhood, as child of the Eternal Father for his day on earth. The Supreme Mind has always known that man would have committed against himself the crime of killing Grace in himself and the theft of robbing himself of Heaven.

Why then did He create him? Certainly many ask themselves why. Would you have preferred not to exist? Does this day deserve, in itself, to be lived, although so poor and bare, and rendered harsh by your wickedness, so that you may know and admire the Infinite Beauty that the hand of God has sewn in the universe?

For whom would He have created the stars and planets that fly like thunderbolts and arrows, furrowing the vault of Heaven, or dash majestically in their rush of meteors, and yet seem slow, presenting you with light and seasons, eternally immutable and yet always mutable. They give you a new page to read on the sky, every evening, every month, every year, as if they wished to say: “Forget your restriction, forsake your printed matter which is full of obscure, putrid, dirty, poisonous, false, swearing, corrupting material and rise, at least with your eyes, to the unlimited freedom of the firmament, make your souls bright looking at so clear a sky. Build up a supply of light to take to your dark prison. Read the word that we write singing our sidereal chorus, which is more harmonious than the one drawn from a cathedral organ. The word that we write while shining, the word that we write while loving, because we always bear in mind Him Who gave us the joy of existing. And we love Him for giving us our existence, our brightness, our movement, our freedom, our beauty in the midst of the gentle azure, beyond which we can see an even more sublime blue: Paradise. And we fulfill the second part of His commandment of love, by loving you, our universal neighbors, loving you by giving guidance and light, warmth and beauty. Read the word we say, the one on which we modulate our singing, our brightness our smile: God!”

For whom would He have made the blue sea, the mirror of the sky, the way to the land, the smile of waters, the voice of waves? The sea itself is a word that with the rustling of silk, with the smiles of happy girls, with the sighs of old people who remember and weep, with the clamor of violence, with clashes and roars always speaks and says: “God”. The sea is for you, as the sky and the stars are. And with the sea, the lakes and the rivers, the ponds and the streams, the pure springs, all of which serve to nourish you, to quench your thirst, to clean you: and they serve you serving their Creator, without submerging you, as you deserve.

For whom would He have made the countless families of animals, the beautifully colored birds, that fly singing, and other animals that like servants, run, work, nourish you and succor you, their kings?

For whom would He have created the countless families of plants and flowers that look like butterflies, like gems and motionless birds, and the families of fruits that are like jewels or jewels cases and are a carpet for your feet and the trees that form shelters for your heads, a welcome relaxation and joy to your minds, your limbs, your sight and smell?

For whom would He have made the minerals in the bowels of the earth and the salts dissolved in cold and boiling springs, the iodines and the bromines, unless one should enjoy them, one who was not God, but the son of God? One: man.

The joy of God lacked nothing: God had no need. He is sufficient in Himself. He has only to contemplate Himself to rejoice, to nourish Himself, to live, to rest. The whole creation has not increased by one atom His infinite joy, beauty, life, power. He made everything for the creature that He wanted to place as king in the work made by Him: that creature is man.

It is worth while living to see such a work of God and to be grateful to His power that gives you the opportunity. And you must be grateful to be alive. You should have been grateful even if you had to wait till Doomsday to be redeemed, because you have been prevaricators, proud, lascivious and murderers in your First Parents and you are still so individually. Yet God allows you to enjoy the beauty of the universe, the goodness of the universe: and He treats you as if you were good children, who are taught and granted everything so that their lives might be happier and more pleasant. What you know, you know by the light of God. What you discover, you discover through the guidance of God. In Goodness. Other knowledge and discoveries that bear the mark of evil, come from the Supreme Evil: Satan.

The Supreme Mind, that knows everything, before man existed, knew that man would be a thief and self murderer. And as the Eternal Goodness has no limits in being good, before Guilt existed, He thought of the means to obliterate Guilt. The means: I, the Word. The instrument to render the means an efficient instrument: Mary. And the Virgin was created in the sublime mind of God.

Everything was created for Me, beloved Son of the Father. I-King should have had under my Divine Royal feet carpets and jewels such as no royal palace had, and songs and voices and servants and ministers around me as no sovereign ever possessed, and flowers and gems, all the sublime, the greatness, the kindness that may derive from the thought of a God.

But I was to be Flesh as well as Spirit. Flesh to save the flesh. Flesh to sublime the flesh, taking it to Heaven many centuries before its time. Because the flesh inhabited by the spirit is God’s masterpiece and Heaven had already been made for it. In order to become flesh I needed a Mother. To be God it was necessary that the Father was God.

Then God created His Spouse and said to Her: “Come with Me. At My side see what I am doing for our Son. Look and rejoice, eternal Virgin, eternal Maiden and may Your smile fill the Empyrean and give the angels their starting note and teach Paradise celestial harmony. I am looking at You. And I see You as You will be, Immaculate Woman, Who are now only a spirit: the spirit in which I rejoice. I am looking at You and I give the sea and the firmament the blue of Your eyes, the holy corn the color of Your hair, whiteness to the lily and a rosy color to the rose, like Your silky skin. I copy the pearls from Your minute teeth, I make the sweet strawberries watching Your mouth and I give the nightingale your notes and the turtle-doves Your weeping. And reading your future thoughts and listening to the throbs of Your heart, I have the motive of guidance in creating. Come, My joy, have the worlds as a plaything as long as You will be the dancing light of My thought; have the worlds for Your smile, have wreaths and necklaces of stars; place the moon under Your gentle feet; make Galatea Your stellar scarf. The stars and planets are for you. Come and enjoy looking at the flowers that will be a childish joy for Your Baby and a pillow for the Son of Your womb. Come and see sheep and lambs, eagles and doves being created. Stay beside Me when I make the hollows of the seas and grooves of the rivers and I raise the mountains and I adorn them with snow and forests. Stay here while I sow fudders and trees and vines, and I make the olive-tree for You, My Peaceful One, and the vine for You, My Vine branch who will bear the Eucharistic Bunch of grapes. Run, fly rejoice, My Beauty. And may the universe which is created hour by hour learn from You to love Me, My Love, and may it become more beautiful owing to Your smile, Mother of My Son, Queen of My Paradise, Love of Your God.” And again, seeing the Fault and admiring the Faultless One: “Come to Me, You Who wipe out the bitterness of human disobedience, of human fornication with Satan and of human ingratitude. I will take with You My revenge over Satan”.

God, the Father Creator, had created man and woman with such a perfect law of love that you cannot even understand its perfection any longer. And you become lost in wondering how the human species would have come to be, if man had not been taught by Satan how to obtain it.

Look at the fruit and seed plants. Do they produce seed and fruit by means of fornication, by means of one fecundation out of one hundred copulations? No. The pollen emerges from the male flower and driven by a complex of meteoric and magnetic laws it proceeds to the ovary of the female flower. The latter opens, receives it and produces. It does not pollute itself and then refuse it, as you do, to enjoy the same sensation the following day. It produces and until the new season, it does not get pollinated and when it does, it is only to produce.

Look at the animals. All of them. Have you ever seen a male animal and a female one approach each other for a sterile embrace and lascivious dealings? No. From near or far, they fly, crawl, jump or run, they go, when it is time, to the fecundation rite. Neither do they evade stopping at the pleasure, but they go further, to the serious and holy consequences of the offspring, the only reason that should cause a man, a demigod by his origin of Grace which I have made complete, to accept the animality of the act, necessary since you descended by one degree towards animals.

You do not act as plants and animals do. You had as your teacher Satan. You wanted him as your teacher and you still want him. And the works you do are what one would expect of the teacher you wanted. Had you been faithful to God, you would have had the joy of children, in a holy way, without pain, without exhausting yourselves in obscene and shameful intercourses, which even beasts are unacquainted with, although beasts are without a reasoning and spiritual soul.

To man and woman, corrupted by Satan, God decided to oppose the Man born of a Woman, Whom God had super-sublimed to such an extent that she generated without knowing man: a Flower that generates a Flower, without the need of seed, by a unique kiss of the Sun on the inviolated chalice of the Lily-Mary.

The revenge of God!

Hiss, O Satan, your hatred while She comes into the world! This Child has beaten you! Before you were the Reel, the Twister, the Corruptor, you were already beaten and she was your Conqueror. One thousand assembled arms of men fall before your scales, o Perennial One, and there is no wind capable of dispersing the stench of your breath. And yet, the heel of this Child, which is so rosy as to look like the inside of a rosy camellia, and is so smooth and soft that silk seems coarse in comparison and is so small that it could enter the chalice of a tulip and make itself a tiny shoe with that vegetable satin, that heel is crushing your head without any fear and relegates you to your den. And Her cry causes you to flee away, although you are not afraid of armies. And Her breath purifies the world of your foul smell. You are defeated. Her name, Her look, Her purity are a lance, a thunderbolt that pierces you and demolishes you and imprisons you in your den in Hell, o Cursed One, who deprived God of the joy of being the Father of all men created!

In vain you have corrupted them, who had been created innocent, leading them to knowledge and conception by means of the sensuousness of lust depriving God, in His beloved creature, of being the benefactor of the children according to rules, which, had they been respected, would have kept a balance on earth between sexes and races, a balance capable of averting wars between peoples and calamities between families.

By obeying, they would have also known love. Nay, only by obeying they would have known love and possessed it. A complete and peaceful possession of this gift from God, Who from the super-natural descends to the inferior, so that also the flesh may rejoice devoutly, since it is united to the spirit and created by Him Who created the spirit.

Now, men, what is your love, what are your loves? Either lewdness disguised as love or an incurable fear of losing the love of your partner through her or other people’s lewdness. You are never sure of possessing the heart of your husband or wife, since lust entered the world. And you tremble and cry and become overwrought with jealousy, sometimes you kill to avenge a betrayal, sometimes you despair, and sometimes you lack will or even become insane.

This is what you have done, Satan, to the children of God. Those whom you have corrupted, would have known the joy of having children without suffering any pain and would have experienced the joy of being born without fear of dying. But now you are beaten in a Woman and by a Woman. From now on, whoever loves Her will become once again God’s own, overcoming your temptations, to be able to look at Her immaculate purity. From now on mothers, thought not able to conceive without pain, will find comfort in Her. From now on She will be the guide of married women and the Mother of dying people, so that it will be sweet to die resting on the breast which is a shield against you, you Cursed One , and against the wrath of God.

Mary, little voice, you have seen the birth of the Virgin’s Son and the assumption of the Virgin to Heaven. You have therefore seen that the faultless ones are unaware of the pain in giving birth as well as of the pain in dying. But if the Most Innocent Mother of God was granted the perfection of celestial gifts all those who in the First Parents had remained innocent and sons of God, would have generated without throes as it was fair, having conceived without lust, and they would have died without anxiety.

The sublime victory of God over Satan’s revenge was to raise the perfection of the beloved creature to a super-perfection that should annul at least in one person all recollection of humanity, liable to Satan’s poison, so that the Son should be generated not by a man’s chaste embrace, but by a divine embrace that causes the spirit to change color in the ecstasy of the Fire.

The Virgin’s Virginity! ...

Come. Contemplate this deep virginity that gives ecstatic dizziness in its contemplation! What is the poor enforced virginity of a woman that no man married? Less than nothing. What is the virginity of a woman who wanted to be a virgin to belong to God, but is so in her body and not in her spirit, where she allows alien thought to enter and entertains allurements of human thoughts? It is a sham virginity. But still very little. What is the virginity of a cloistered nun who lives only for God? Very much. But it is never the perfect virginity when compared with My Mother’s.

There has always been an association, also in the most holy one. The original association between spirit and fault. The one that only Baptism dissolves. It dissolves it, but as in the case of a woman separated from her husband by his death, it does not render virginity complete such as it was in the First Parents before Sin. A scar remains and hurts causing one to remember it, and it is always ready to become a sore like certain diseases that periodically are made worse by their virus. In the Virgin there is no sign of this dissolved association with the Fault. Her soul appears beautiful and intact as when the Father conceived Her, gathering all graces in Her.

She is the Virgin. She is the Only One. She is the Perfect One. The Complete One. Conceived as such. Generated as such. Remained such. Crowned such. Eternally such, She is the Virgin. She is the acme of intangibility, of purity, of grace that is lost in the Abyss from which it emerged: in God: most perfect Intangibility, Purity, Grace.

That is the revenge of the God Trine and One. Against creatures desecrated He raises this Star to perfections. Against pernicious curiosity He raises the Coy Virgin, contented only with loving God. Against the science of evil, this sublime Innocent Virgin. In Her there is not only no knowledge of dejected love: there is not only non-acquaintance with the love that God had given to married people. Much more. In Her there is the absence of incentives, the inheritance of sin. In Her there is only the icy and white-hot wisdom of divine love. A fire that strengthens the flesh with ice, so that it may be a transparent mirror at the altar where God married a Virgin and does not lower Himself because His perfection embraces Her perfections, which, as it becomes a bride, is only inferior to His by one point subject to Him as a Woman, but without fault as He is.
